Quick question. Why do I always see people, posting about ZP, but only really wanting to be the first to post?
Nearly every week, pointlessly short comments, sometimes shamelessly saying things like "Yeah, I'm first". Is there something to gain for posting first? Am I missing something?

I don't understand it either but it isnn't just here, it's across the internet.

I think that people like to show off in anyway they can and maybe they think being lucky enough to watch the video a fraction of a second after it's uploaded is something to brag about.

I laugh when someone posts "FIRST!!!!!!!!!!" too late and ends up second or third.

The whole thing, I think, stems from some weird bizarro form of an internet peeing contest. Personally, I think the practice is silly, but whatever floats peoples' boats, I guess... Internet is weird...

It's because they are insecure and desire some recognition from their internet peers. Being first, they think they are the faster (therefore better?) poster (Like a race, only stupid).

Naw, "Boobies!" has a certain panache to it. Personally, I'd correct it to hyperlink to the a pompous piece of post-modern literature analysis generator, and post as the 7th response in the thread.
