I'm doing my final runthrough of ME2 and want to do everything (Yes I know I won't finish by 3/6/12) Are there any assignments that are "missable"? When going through Garrus' recruitment mission I picked up a data pad which activated an assignment, would I have been able to get the assignment if I had missed that? If there are missble assignments, where should I keep an eye out for them?

There are actually a few items you can pick up during loyalty missions that, when you miss 'em, are lost forever. And might even be others, I don't know.
I recommend using a Gamefaqs walkthrough if you want to 100% the game.

Garrus Loyalty mission has a missable one, but it can be solved without it.
Thats all I remember at the moment.
I won't list'em all out since it's already been done, but just let you know that most of them are actually pretty hard to miss. Thane's, for instance, is literally right in front of you after the "push the guy out the window" scene. None of them are really hidden.Cranyx said:

), there's actually a lot of "pit-stop sidequests" to find (anomallies on planets). Most of them are little 5-10 minute "drop in, kill some stuff, you're done" missions, but there's actually a few little storylines. A couple involving mercs and one neat one involving a computer virus.Oh, and there's a Zombie Husk Apocalypse cave somewhere out there.
