Speaking as guy from a family of cat lovers and has no more than 7 family cats not counting the moochers, you won't have problems without really good effort(a LOT of it).Our two indoor cats(both neutered due to originally being shelter cats, a male and a female, ironically) Jump down several flights of stairs, fallen a storey or two trying to chase pigeons on the window sill, get into massive cat fights and suffer through pro longed exposure to abba music without much problem and we've had them for years. Cats are well adaptive animals. They can familiarise terittories, memorise paths, figure out behavioural habits("Hey, 12 O clock bro. feed me or we claw your manhood bub") and frankly they don't say cats have nine lives for nothing. Hell, they can swim(one of our outdoor kittens fell into a pool and managed to swim to the sides and climb back to land. we call him "drippy")
As for names, go with gloatingswine's idea. You'll want to be comfortable shouting for your cat(wether to call it or berate it,most likely it will be the latter as you'll soon give up on the former when you realise it is futile). Also, borrowing from the hobbits, "call it something brief so you won't have to shorten it for use or something".
As for names:
Howabout naming them after some mythological figures.(zeus, aphrodite,Loki, tiamit)
Or some flower(daisy is what we named our female indoor cat, lilly, lilac, sunny)
Their behaviour(garfield is the nickname of our male indoor cat, guess why.Drippy, thief)
Their standout features(we also call garfield "featherduster" for his fuzzy feather duster like tail)
Or you could name them human names if you aren't in brazil(it's illegal there to name pets after people)
