Chin up cowboy, you haven't lost out yet. Just because she doesn't like you now.... doesn't mean she wont like you in the future or is incapable of coming around to you now.

I suggest you find something you are awesome at and get even BETTER for a few hours.
Or snog someone random. That always helps!

Write a strongly worded letter. Call her all the bad names under the sun. I don't know. It might make you feel better.

Unfortunately, all you can do is give it time. Try to limit as much interaction with her as possible (if that means cutting back on seeing your friend so be it). You will get over it in time. I wish I could give you some magic quick-fix but unfortunately there isn't one. All I can say is don't try to rush into a new relationship. It won't help, and you won't be doing anyone a favor.

The stench of troll leaks from you.
Just saying. Maybe I'm wrong but you do a great job making it look like you're trolling.

Dude, you're 24 - you would have thought you'd learn this kind of thing by now!

All I can add to these guys' advice is don't do anything stupid.

Broke up with my girlfriend of 2 years recently. My suggestion is try and move on as soon as possible... I wallowed for about 6 weeks and it's really screwed me up in the long run.
Confide in friends, without a circle of very close friends I would have probably done something stupid... or more stupid at least.
Most importantly, don't dwell on it! Find a distraction, as you are here I will presume that you game, find a nice long game that is very immersive and play the hell out of it. It's kinda silly but Mass Effect 1/2 really helped me as I could lose hours playing and not have to think about things.

Dude. We all have been there in some twisted way. Finding a creative outlet from writing depressing poetry, (even if you're not good) or playing an insturment or artwork is one of the best ways to cope with this kind of thing.

I would have to second this. I find writing to be a good way of getting hurt feelings out. Even if no one else is going to read what you wrote (probably best to keep to yourself anyways), it still feels good to write it all off.
