Mercenaries 2 Glitches

This thread is solely dedicated to any and all glitches in Mercenaries 2: World in Flames. Since Mercenaries 2 is a fun but glitchy game, I thought of setting up this thread just to see what glitches you guys have experienced, whether they be funny or just strange. I've experienced 2 notable glitches glitches so far. One's strange yet helpful, and the other's just plain funny.

1.)Spare part Surplus: Just yesterday, I've noticed the "Spare part collected" bar pop up at random occasions(Like when I'm driving, flying around, etc.). I don't know how this glitch came to be, but is helpful, since It's giving me parts I might've missed out on and can't go back to retrieve(I can't go back to the Allied HQ, and I've destroyed 2/3 of the oil rigs.).

2.)From Hell to Heaven: Also yesterday, I was playing with a friend who had cheats activated(On his profile, thank god), so he had access to an unlimited amount of Nuclear Bunker Busters. He used one on UP's HQ and I decided to drive my Diplomat Heavy tank straight into the Skyscraper to see what would happen. When the nuke hit, tons of debris fell on the tank and forced the tank under the map. I hopped out, and I was able to see the entire city above me. Then, the buildings disappeared randomly. I looked down, saw the city below me, and realized that I had just spawned at the highest point in the sky, hence the name, from hell to heaven.

What other glitches have you guys experienced? Please, do tell.....

EDIT: And could anyone tell me if they've experienced the Spare parts glitch as well? I want to know if this is a common glitch or a rare one.

carrying the invisible man- While playing co-op I was retrieving an HVT when I picked him up and died, my friend came up and revived me but my guy looked like he was still carrying the HVT but the HVT was lying on the floor next to me.

be the boat- Again in co-op I was driving a boat and I take a sharp turn into a beach so the boat lands on its side and jump out. The boat rolls over me and I get trapped in it, my friend now hysterically laughing says it looked like I was a walking boat. The boat being upside down eventually exploded but it was still funny.

the bottomless pit- When you walk up o some rocks and jump on them then slide down them you can sit in one place and fall forever.

blackout- When in a helicopter flying about the city my screen went black and I died just like that.

Not so much a glitch as a constant idiocy.

I threw a what now? When I'd go to throw a grenade, it would sometimes be a unit of C4, or vice versa. Often, I would forget and detonate it beneath my feet or throw another grenade.

The next isn't one I've personally experienced.

Ski-tank - Just a random impulse to drive my tank into the water. I drove up onto a ramp, and dove into lake Maracaibo, almost. The tank landed on the surface and just floated forward, extremely slowly, without sinking.

I suppose the HVT died as well?

I've seen random blown up shells of helicopters floating in the air around the pirate islands. I've also seen containers like the ones you see helicopters carrying, floating in the air with no helicopters carrying them.

Impossible Hijack-So I'm doing the Allied mission where you have to blow up the recon plane that's trapped on the Chinese Island, when I'm attacked by several Chinese tanks. I figure "no big deal," and go up to one, kill the gunner and attempt to hijack it. I notice that the button mashing "take the grenade" sequence is much harder than normal, and I fail. Again, I figure "no biggie," try again, and fail again. I'm getting pissed off at this point, so when it comes to the button mashing section, I use my index finger instead of my thumb, and start mashing it as fast as humanly possible. Again, the guy manages to muscle the grenade back and knock me off. At that point, I died. Controller throwing ensued.

I've had it, it's no big deal. Apparently when you reach a certain number of parts, anytime you return to an area that used to have a part it gives it to you again. It's a great way to get cash and special vehicles.

Same freakin' thing happens to me when Hijacking a chinese copter! :{(

no, actually he was alive and well. My friend picked him up and delivered him to the helicopter and it was still acting like I was carrying him, I had to restart mercs 2 to get rid of it.

Well, I'd agree with alive, but given his current state-of-being, i wouldn't really say well....

Floating above the water: one time i was trapped in a VZ outpost so i decided to bomb the gates with 2 500lb bombs so i ran to the bridge when the bombs went boom the gate exploded with the bridge i was standing on but when the bridge was 100 tiny pieces and not intact i was floating above the water where the bridge was.

Launching a Nuclear bunkerbuster on yourself will leave you unharmed.

It's pretty funny.

Character Switcheroo-My character was turned into Matthias. Somehow. Had his dialogue, his outfits, his ability.

I fucking HATE that guy, too!

I have a serious Glitch, the first level "Moving in" (this is the PC version btw), I have to go into the Villa and kill the president's entourage as marked by target tag things. Except when I get to 3 out of 5 of the tags, they indicate a blank space. Nothing to kill, no way to get past it into the game. I just bought this and it's really frustrating, can anyone help?

what you are experiencing is not a glitch. my guess is that is was made to extremely hard. every now and then, when i get lucky, i will manage to get the grenade away and then high jack the tank. same thing with the helicopters, but those are easier than the tanks.
