So I've pretty much gotten tired of normal Guild Wars, and now I'm trying weird stuff. One of which is my mercenary idea.
My guild is pretty much dead and I'm going to leave it soon, but if I do I might try being a mercenary and travel to different guilds to earn faction for gold. My question: is this allowed? No, this is not trading gold for real life money or whatever. I'm just going to charge 1 gold for every 2 faction points (sides don't matter), which seems like a role playing thing rather than rule breaking. But I'm just making sure before I try it.

That's totally allowed, why wouldn't it be? I do the exact same thing but for free because I'm pretty much [i/]done[/i] with the game. My player (pantsoff danceoff) is complete.

Ya, I checked the website and it didn't say anything about it. Problem now is figuring out how to let guild leaders know for sure that I transferred faction.

A little off-topic, but does anyone know how to leave a guild that they've been in for a few years? I need to leave it to become a mercenary but I'm not sure what to say to the guildies.
Edit: considering none will be online at the time, I'll most likely be leaving a message for them. Also, when I go the whole guild will likely fall apart.
