When bored at work I start to think. Here is one of my many many thoughts.
~First of all, please do NOT think of religious texts or books for the following situation. It doesn't really fit in what I'm talking about.~
Imagine if you read something that changed your life. Something that made you stop for a moment and think. Maybe it had some good advice that never crossed your mind before? Maybe it's a riddle or question asked in just a way to spur your thinking? Still you read it, and it meant the world to you.
Now what if you read those words on the back of a comic book, advertisement, or even in a video game? Would that cheapen the message? Should it? It's so important to you, it made you think so deeply, yet must it be discredited because of where you found it?
Normally if I relay good advice from something like a TV show then I end up telling the person where I got the idea from. I suddenly feel like it's not as important anymore, like it lost value even though it still fits the situation. I don't like that feeling, and I think the world should care more about the message then where it comes from.
