From me. Fallout, Elder Scrolls, Mass Effect, Assassins Creed, Counter Strike and Gary's Mod are good. Everything else is shit. See, unbiased.

You can't have an unbiased opinion, some sites such as IGN can have horrible amounts of bias and some sites have less.
In the end there is only one person who can make the proper judgement on whether something is good or not...

The system metacritic uses makes it, by nature, as unbiased as you can be from a realistic point. As an above poster mentioned, all reviews are going to be biased to some extent, but when your review is just an average of everyone elses reviews, the result is going to be as close to the truth as you can get.
It's logic, worth is relative to opinion, and metacritic is the numeric average of however many major opinions it can find.

No one can keep their personal feelings completely out of the subject they're picking apart. If you're going to go into the details of how something is built up and how it might appeal to others then your own immersion will play a part in whether or not you'd recommend it to another person.
If we don't enjoy something we just automatically assume others won't enjoy it either. Thus comes the useless reviews that's been mentioned earlier. Namely the ones where you simply say "either you like this kind of stuff or you like that kinda jig, if you're the latter then you won't enjoy the former".

Second, isn't Metacritic, by it's very nature, unbiased? I tend to use IGN because I always have, but I'll look at as many reviews as I can.
Yahtzee tends to be unbiased simply because we can see his biases so easily. His tendancies are fairly close to mine. I don't generaqlly like JRPGs, I LOVE space sims, and I'm one of the few that doesn't actually buy CoD. I bought WaW and that's it. Played the others at friends houses, and didn't like. Though I do like my strategy games. So, use Yahtzee in the safe knowledge that he will hate it no matter what.
