Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance Set for 2013 Release

In the Rising trailer though; I've never found it painful to hear stuff delievered, this trailer just seems like a double dose of cheese wrapped up in marketing to anyone they can possibly market to. It doesn't really "feel" Metal Gear, if you know what I mean? The "Make it right", Depeche mode over the top, really doesn't fit the tone established in the rest of the franchise.

Again, I fail to see how it's any more painful than Kojima previous diatribes. He went to seed and turned into a schlock writer who throws dictionaries at the viewer in order to make what he says sound more meaningful than it really is. Revenegeance's dialogue is at least so bad it's hilarious. MGS4's was just so bad it was boring and painful.

First thing that this makes me think of is the teenage male equivalent of the Twilight self insert fantasy.

Everything a teenage boy would dream of, and there was like a cyborg... ninja! And he's fighting like a robot dog with a... chainsaw!

It even has the title to match it...

I think that's the point.

damn they dropped rising from the title. i was hoping the reason he turned into a cyborg was because snake broke his back after seeing the end of son of the patriots. o well ;(
