Metal Gear Solid: 360?

seeing as i've never played a MGS game (i don't actually know who Raiden is, as far as i know he's the thunder god from Mortal Kombat) and don't own a 360 i'm not exactly hyped about it but i'm sure there are plenty of people who are looking forward to it.

It. Is. Real. I saw it with my own eyes. Hideo Kojima appeared and announced that he is bringing Metal Gear Solid to the 360.

It's working on the Xbox.com site, but it's been and gone. Its a live feed after all.

This might be a strange thought, but for some reason I don't see this playing out like a normal Metal Gear game. If they try to make it about the badass Raiden from MGS 4, I see it playing out as more of a Dynasty Warriors-esque game in the Metal Gear universe than the stealth based action that we all know and love.

Overall, I'm skeptical of how this will turn out, but I'm not going to let that dash my hopes that this game will live up to everyone's expectations (and that Raiden won't be as much of a pussy as he was in MGS 2).

It will be interesting to see how this game looks once development goes underway.

MGS4 had mixed reviews due to the long cinematics.

This is what 360 fans wanted. We should be happy. It may come on the PS3 but that was not mentioned. FF13 and in English looked great on the 360 (I've played the Japanese demo already).

Some great things are in store for the 360. We'll see how well this MGS game turns out.

Anyway, as I already said, It'll be good, but mabye not as groundbreaking as MGS should be. It'll probably just be MGS 4 with a different character.

I'm not sure. They did say everything from a certain point was 360 exclusive but I'm not definite. I'd say it is but don't quote me on that.

When did they say that? I think if it was exclusive they would be stressing that part with Kojima saying "Itd iiiis Excxclusieieve to EXboox, ded juou like id?".

Despite hating Raiden I might check this out, if it turns out exclusive it would be a certain hinge for me to buy an Xbox, but I doubt that.

Ah okay. The MGS announcement was at a different part of the show (not 100% sure), I think after they got the whole facebook and other video stream stuff out of the way I think. Anyway we'll know tommorow.

It's about slow clunky PSX era gameplay coupled with Kojima's trademark retarded storylines and awkwardly written anime-grade plot. You know, just like all his other games.
