METAL GEAR SOLID 4 CUTSCENE 'johnny and meryl kicking ass'

i have a question for you all here, anyone who ahs played metal gear 4 and watched the cutscenes, knows that some [most] of the battles in said scenes are usually ridiculously overdone. raiden vs the gekko, raiden vs vamp etc...

but the ONE cutscene that made me near piss myself laughing was the one where johnny and meryl both confees their love for the other, and go about killing off frogmen with neo-matrix like action. i found this EXTREAMLY hilarious and couldtn stop smiling as i watched it. it was jsut too silly to take seriously, as i write this im grinning and giggleign like a stoned chimp thinkin about it.

what i'd like to know is, how many other people found this scene both hilarious, grin worthy and cool, and what your favourite scene was.

Every cutscene in MGS4 is more or less overdone and unrealistic. Raiden/Vamp fight? But yes that cutscene with Johnny and Meryl is just laughable.

This 'neo-matrix' skill you speak of, while incredibly unrealistic, I think it's mean to be a demonstartion of what their nanomachines make them capable of.

my favourite cutscene? RAY jumping out of the water, and you knowing you're about the smash it up.

That is a good scene, but as funny MGS4 cutscenes go my favorite is the one where SNake is constantly checking Niome out. There's a part where you press L2 and he looks down her cleavage, and it restores his Psych guage. 2nd funniest is the ending cutscenes, mainly because they just NEVER end. it is literally about an hour between the last button press and the end of the game. I actually like watching the cutscenes, but after the SECOND set of credits it keeps going, and it just got silly. I swear I lost it when I saw Sonny cooking some more damn eggs!

The most rediculous one is...
When Raiden stopps that giant boat WITH ONLY ONE ARM swinging Gekko like Nunchuks is one thing, but come on seriously. If we get to play as Raiden in the new game I bet he won't be nearly as good.

Cutscene characters are always better than the playable characters. In the cutscenes Snake does cool CQC moves, but in the game all you can do is shove an enemy with your gun, or flip them over in a Judo toss.

I really liked every cutscene in the game, I didn't really notice all the cheesiness of it while I was watching them. The only cutscene that made me lose it was when:

Naomi dies and Otacon starts crying. At first I was fine with it, but then he didn't stop! I just had to laugh, then felt bad because I shouldn't of been laughing.

Yeah that annoyed me a little bit, like when:

Snake and Liquid were fighting on top of Outer Haven in Act 5, that was just so badass. You did get pretty cool moves for the actual boss fight though....

Oh and at least you can pause the cutscenes in this game. My cousin missed out on some major cutscenes near the end of the game because he couldn't pause it.
