Metal Gear Solid 5 shown at comic-con?

An image that was supposedly snapped at San Diego Comic Con has appeared online, suggesting that a presentation for Metal gear Solid 5 was made at the show.

The photo was apparently taken during a behind-closed-doors event at the show, and shows the Metal Gear Solid 5 logo with the words ?Open Ground Reconnaissance Endeavors? above it, or OGRE, coincidence? Could this be a new tagline for the series that will replace the much loved ?Tactical Espionage Action.? It would certainly explain what the mysterious Project Ogre is.

]Just to add a little more fuel to the fire, Konami U.K. tweeted : ?Fake or real, we love a bit of speculation! ‪#ogre‬ ‪#mgs5‬,? linking to the above photo. Could it be trying to muddy the waters and make us think the image is fake, or is it just making fun of it not being real?

It gets better, Epic Game?s Cliff Bleszinski tweeted : ?Just got pulled into a back room at Comic Con by @HIDEO_KOJIMA_EN and showed some crazy new secret stuff. Wow.?


Anyway, thoughts on this? Real or fake?

Snakes story ended really well in MGS4, sorta sad that they're reviving him just to milk the series. Let him rest in peace Kojima!

Well ofcourse this is real, why wouldn't it be? Metal Gear Solid is like the last money cow Konami has left.

But seeing as MGS4 turned everything into a giant heap of smelly spaghetti, I'm not too keen on the idea of another sequel.

I wonder if Kojima will say this is his last MGS game.

If there is a MGS5, will the story revolve around Snake or will there be a new character I wonder.

So what if Snake is dead? This could be a prequel. It could be about Big Boss again.

And apparently it's coming to PC as well. Kojima was talking about his new Fox engine and how their aim is to make multiplatform games in the future. There's a video of it. As he was saying that his hand glanced across the mouse, PS3 controller and 360 controller. There is hope!
