People are saying that Quiet is Chico who got a sex change, because he felt ashamed of being forced to rape Paz. Some of the concept art for Chico has him with a sniper, but that never made it into Peacewalker and his description says he always wanted to be a hunter.

Sounds crazy but it sounds like something Kojima would do.

Oh, sure, because a girl dressed like a skank can't just be a girl dressed like a skank like in real life. Not sure you can call a theory a spoiler.

(Though, when it does happen, it doesn't have to be secret. Michael Bay made Megan Fox wash his car in a bikini while he filmed it before he let her be in Transformers. And, also, admitted to it later, which seems the weirdest part to me)

Kojima's Japanese, that's what you should need to know. I cannot recall a time of blatant fanservice in a single character in a MGS game or "self-serving" options to create said fanservice, because, well...Japan.
