Also seems weird that he's sitting in a jeep beside Skull Face there. You'd think after the shit in Ground Zeroes that he'd be the first person that Big Boss would want to kill... Then again, it does seem that both of them want to get rid of Cipher.Sean Hollyman said:

Would be amazing if Trenya and the Rathalos, Tigrex and Gear REX fights were canon.
My thoughts? It's such a terrible trailer. I love the fact that it warns me that it was directed and edited by Hideo Kojima, like I couldn't have figured that out on my own. He's so terrible, but I love the guy. There's a certain charm to his badly edited trailers with music that doesn't fit the mood at all.
Am I the only one who was reminded of the ending of The Big Lebowski, when Big Boss had the can of ashes in his hands? I secretly wished he'd scatter he ashes and then have the wind blow it right into Miller's face. That would've been priceless.Adam Jensen said:
So I am guessing that the magic knife of lens flare is going to play some significant role in this game... lol, I really can't pin point when exactly I stopped caring about MGS, I do remember that at one point the build up to a new MGS game was something that got me excited, that it would be a day one buy but at some point I just stopped caring and my god that 'trailer' really did nothing for me, I mean really not a thing, in fact I may even go as far as to say that I am even less interested in MGS after watching that trailer.
In fact I know why I am not interested, it's because Kojima is incapable of telling a story, a story with a succinct plot that has something worth telling with a definitive start, middle and end. Everything is about sub text, sub plot, something that popped up three games ago, a hint about some past hint in a small part of a game that came out ten years ago. Seriously if it was a weekly TV show it would be annoying to follow but following it on games that come out every five years or so... just no.

I really liked the trailer. I was not a fan of the last trailer and this attempt made it for me. The game was not on my radar and now its something to keep a eye on for myself.
