Meteor Shower 8/12/09

Anyone watch the meteor shower last night??? I watched most of it but had to leave after sitting on wet bleachers due to the fog in the field :S

The whole of South Wales was covered with thick cloud! Dammit ¬_¬

I only saw a few meteors last night, then got bored waiting outside and fell asleep.

I saw it! It was pretty. I didn't even have to go that far out of town.

Yes I watched it, it was clear skys in Scotland for once and it was awesome!

I went to top of this hill to try see and that failed but when I was in my back garden I seen one so I got a chair and sat out and watched them for an hour or so

as i lay there on the bench in the middle of the foggy soccer field i drifted off for a good hour or so staring into the vast starry night sky-i felt as if what i had said earlier was true-that i really was swimming in a silent starry sky-the field was immursed in a thick ravonous fog that i could taste------->i wrote that while i was in the field last night-i would like to write a book someday but my BASIC GRAMMER SUCKS

Cloudy in Skye, couldn't see a thing, which sucks because there's very little light pollution here.

Dude! The meteor shower would've been the pérfect romantic date!

Anyway, it was blocked by clouds here. I managed to catch one of them, one shooting star. That already made me happy, better one than none huh?

I did, although i went the previous night, cos thats when activity was as its highest. Drove out to an isolated spot up the coast around 1am, it was nice.

Really? I thought it was from the 12th around midnight ish untill the 13th early in the morning.
