Hello Escapist.

Story time. Last christmas, I recieved a copy of Metro 2033, a video game based on a russian post nuclear war novel. I loved the game, and played it through several times. Eventually I decided to try and aquire the book it was based on.

This was back in December. It is now April, and after a music book, a Wikipedia article, and 4 months of waiting after being told it had yet to be written in english, I go back to Barns and Noble to find the release date set at April first. April Fools mother fuc*er! Hahahaha! Bend me over why don't you...

So anyway Escapist, when have you even been slapped around by costumer support? Share your stories and make ready your soap boxes friends

EDIT: It has been made clear to me that Metro 2033 is avaliable in the U.K., but it has yet to arrive stateside.

Wait so what you're saying is that apparently Metro 2033 is being released in English on the 23rd...because its been out in English for quite some time; I read it back in Febuary. It was ok.

I actually mistyped, I changed it to read "Available on the 32nd", I meant to play on words.

Also, WHAT?! Where did you get it? I have been searching high and low, are you in the U.K?

It's definitely available in the UK, I picked up a copy in Waterstones easy as pie. My brother immediately stole it of course but we still have it.

No I am not, I'm in Canada but I'd assume by the post above me that it is indeed in the UK as well; maybe they thought you were referring to Metro 2034, its sequel...or something to that extent. Or they could have been morons, either way, pick it up; its good, not a god send to literature, but I didn't regret the purchase
