So I noticed that this game looks awesome, but I looked what systems it was for and I saw PC, then 360, but I did some research and noticed it was first planned as a PC/Ps3 game... I could have bought it for PC, but I would have preferred it on Ps3. Now I wanna know what exaclty happened, is Microsoft actually that evil that they didn' just wan it for 360 they also had to pay to make it exlcusive. So, I could have respected it if it was exclusive to PC but to cancel the Ps3 version and putting it on 360 instead is just bad.

Cause of this, I won't buy it for PC, since 360 will probably butcher it. I could have respected that they cancelled the Ps3 version cause they wanted to make more with the game, but if the only reason to cancel it on Ps3 is Microsoft's money I can't simply buy it... So, I really wan't to know why they had to do this, is it only money or another motive? I just wish they would make a more powerful Xbox so multiplats wouldn't be so crappy cuz of the 360...

Honestly, I don't think it'll make much of a difference. Games always look better on PC anyway, and I can't see any other reason why the fact that it's on the 360 would make it a worse game.

You got that vibe too? Exclusives sell consoles, the game industry is just that, an industry, money makes the world go round after all.

It's also the developer's choice for the most part. Microsoft isn't really that bad since they don't really change the games. I think it's just about money and the huge population of 360 users compared to PS3 (although PS3 is rising). An FPS on console is hard to butcher unless they try. Half-Life 2 was good and so was almost every FPS game that's on both consoles and PC.

So, wait? You're refusing to buy it on PC because you believe the 360 development will ruin it, whereas the PS3 development wouldn't have? I mean granted, the PS3 is a more powerful console, but it's offset by the fact that Sony made it so hard to develop for that nobody has managed to use it to it's full extent yet.

I'm getting it for PC. I just hope it's as awesome as STALKER without all the flaws. I'm also waiting for the english version of the book to be released in amazon. This could become a great franchise if they manage to capture the hopelessness seen in STALKER and Fallout(sans dark humor) and stay true to the source material.

Metro 2033 looks ok, but I'm thinking it could end up being a S.T.A.L.K.E.R. clone. If it's a good one, I'll pick it up.

Generally I'm in the same boat as the OP. I prefer games to be developed on the PC. That way there are more options for the PC version that a PC game should have (user-defined save points, graphics options, LAN abilities, and more customization (moddable)). I usually avoid console ports like the plague since the last two I have picked up have been utterly disappointing.

Operation Flashpoint 2 and Wolfenstein could have been a LOT better if developed on the PC and then ported the other way.

I have no problem with games being ported to consoles from the PC, but when it happens the other way around, we've got some serious problems.
