This was the first game I bought after my great fallout with the Wii. Did it restore my faith in Nintendo's console? Did it live up to the hype of simply being part of the series?

Story: The story, if youve been under a rock for the last few years, is about a bounty hunter named Samus Aran, who is currently working for the Galactic Federation, a multi species organization created to help foster peace thru out the galaxy. At the beginning of the game space pirates have infected the federations system of biological computers (weird game isnt it) with a virus, and guess what, they have already sent bounty hunters to give all the computers the cure, and of course, they failed and you have to save them. The underlying story is about Samus dealing with being corrupted with phazon, and using it to fight her crazy evil clone that infected her with it.

Gameplay: After the major let down of Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, many gamers thought that the third game would not be as good as the first one, well those people are wrong. The back of the box says "Point and aim your Wii Remote to blast your enemies with the best first-person controls ever", that is stretching it, a lot, but it is good as any mouse or analog sticks. Even thou it has made the jump to 3-D, the Prime series still has the same feeling of playing any 2-D metroid game, but sometimes I was completely lost, I would scour the entire area and could not find what to do, but when I looked at a guide on the internet, all I had to do was flip on my scanner. So that gets pretty annoying. One other thing is that, unlike the old 2-D Metroid games, it isnt always so easy to find the weak spot on a boss. But over all, its great.

Presentation: Everyone know that the Wii can not make a game look very realistic, so Nintendo went with a artistic style that is breathtaking, o.k. that is a little of a over statement but they are still very good, and look as good as really almost any other game, on any other console. The thing that really makes this game feel like a Metroid title thou is the music, it is amazing, it gave me a nice nostalgic feeling, while still feeling new.

In closing this game is amazing, got a Wii, buy it. 9.5/10

Almost any? Sorry but its very hard to think of a Xbox 360 or PS3 game that looks worse (Crossfire,Hour of Victory,History Channel other than that can't really think of more)

Write more. You went sparse and I appreciate that but...it needs more words in general. Just talk about it, follow tangents, and explore ideas.

Um I wouldn't think Space Marines and Aliens would be very arty.

My comment on your Contra 4 review pretty much sums up my thoughts about this review too:

Very bland and by the numbers. I appreciate the pictures, but if feels like they were added to make up for the fact that the review could fit on a napkin.
I don't know how to say this without sounding harsh, so I'll just come out with it: is English not your first language?

(and also, try to use pictures that don't have watermarks)

I'd write a bit more as you really didn't mention much at all. That was less than the length of my Soul Calibur review for my school newspaper, and I had to keep it short because it couldn't take up a ton of room on the paper. When you're writing a full review go into more detail and really tell people about the game. You're profile says you're almost 19, so you really should be able to flesh out your writing more.

Good game. not much of a review. You didn't say much past 'prime 2 dissapointed, new controls, distinctive art style [even though it's pretty much the same as the first prime], and great game'. talk more about your reactions throughout the game, how you felt upon completing it, replay value and such.

I have a question about the Prime series, to those who played it more than I did (which would be mainly anyone who ever played it for more than a few hours).

Are there any actual Metroids in any of these games?

And to echo what has been said before, this review was way too brief. You could've cut everything but the last sentence and I would have gotten just as much out of it. I'd like to know about gameplay, style of puzzles, features, equipment, fun points, and comparisons to similar games.

Yeah, and they always scare me.

When all of the lights go off in the lab in Phendrana Drifts and Metroids start coming out of their containers. *shivers*
