MGG=REVIEWS-Fable 2

Now I have waited for this game for years and now it is finally come out I have gone crazy and have played nothing else for a week now!

So those who remember the first game will remember that it was a great role playing game even if it was short?but it did pack a lot content and customisation.
Now the second game packs a lot more, and it is really hard to review for me because I love the game to much but I know that I must do my best!

So the story goes that you were a small child that made a whish and unfortunately that wish leads to the death of your sister and then it turns into a quest to stop the destruction of the world.

Most RPG?s, well all RPG?s, put the player and give him his own choices allowing you to customise your characters, abilities, feature etc? and with fable it doesn?t give you some bars in which you choose how your person looks like. Instead you always start with the same character and it devopls on how evil or good you are how much you eat how skilled you are. So it is really interesting to see how everyone character is different?

One thing that makes fable a really in depth RPG is you can have a family. Now you could do this on the first game but it didn?t really do anything. Now you can marry anyone (within reason) and can have kids (only with the opposite sex) which is pretty good..but one thing that disappoints me is that. Let me set a scenario:

When I walk to my house I see my son and daughter come running out and then when I walk over to a pub they follow me but then I see that they aren?t my kids but they where exactly the same so it didn?t feel like my kids were my kids? but they are picked out to look like you and your partner at least?

Now one thing I must say?is that fable has failed?in many aspects, the story we where promised that they spent many months on?seams? to be a disapointedment as even though it is longer than the first game the story ends only when it starts getting good and the ultimate choice and the end seems to hinder you more than anything

Now one thing peter promised was a combat system that could configure with all players. I ,have to say he has delivered on that?the basic moves can be button mashed allowing the more non skilled players?and some of the more harder moves can be learned with ought much consequence, reason being is because when you die?the consequences are that you lose all the exp you haven?t collected and get one scar?but that doesn?t matter people fall in love with you no matter how many scars you have?and experience doesn?t matter as levelling up your abilities?only makes the game easier but you could actually do this game with ought levelling up any of your abilities, so with ought consequence the player doesn?t need to waste money on potions,

Now the amount of weapons and clothing are slim..any clothes that look even slightly good are evil..so to be a good person you have to look like a complete nobhead.
Anyway back to combat? now the combat is pretty basic X controls swords, Y controls guns, B controls magic, all these button can be combined to create some fun and cool combos. All the button can be hold down to create a devastating attack?

If I could sum up this game it is pretty average?not totally mind blowing..but not terrible?you could get through the main story in one play through or two depending on your skill, many of the things we where promised where lived up to, all in all very good game and if you?re a fan of fable I would advise you get it?

The review was alright. It could have been more in-depth, and you could have added to your description of the plot and why it was so weak. Also, one thing: punctuation. Your run-on sentences would make my English teacher weep. Besides that though, it was a satisfactory review.

I'm probably going to get Fable 2, and it seems that it is more of what Fable was plus what it was originally meant to be. If so, it will definitely be enjoyable to play.

I disagree with several of your points. I found the combat sytem to be simple yet very satisfying, and while you can button mash you get a poor combat rating for doing so. Hardly any of the clothing makes you evil (the only things I found were shadow worshipper robes+mask and the assassin's coat), most of them just give you aggresion rating which isn't the same. Sure, the story cuts out at the wrong time, but if you've read any reviews of the game it doesn't come as a suprise and therefore doesn't feel nearly as bad.

As for complaining about how easy the game is? Ahh! It's another blinding flash of the obvious. Also clean up your grammar and punctuation.

Oh lord where do I start? Alright spelling. It's abysmal, I mean you used "ought" instead of "out" not once, but twice! There are a huge number of typos in here, making me think this is just a rushed first draft. The grammar is quite bad as well, you have run on sentences, you are constantly switching tenses and I see close to no full stops.
You are switching subjects half way through a paragraph, only to pick up that subject again later.
Really it's the same thing that has been said with most of your reviews, read them over. Put them in word, check the spelling and grammar. Then read it over again and organise it properly.

Fair points...but i did write it in word thats why it keeps changing to ought! and i probally should have re-drafted it

It's... better. At least we can see effort put into this one. However, while the review was good compared to your other attempts, that doesn't mean that you can't improve even more. There is still a lot of room for improvement. There are many, many things I could mention (spelling, grammar, your writing style, how you only make obvious points), but I won't. You improved, enjoy it, and keep improving.

Learn to love spel chekc. I get the feeling you're typing these up in the post-message window---if that's the case, get your butt over to openoffice.org and download their excellent suite of office software (free and open-source as well!)

Sorry in advance, but I feel I have to be honest here. I didn't find it that compelling a read.
The spelling needs work, the review itself really just skims over many points instead of slowing down to explain what you mean and the way it was worded in some parts confused me to no end.

And isn't the picture from Fable 1?

Lots of spelling and punctuation errors. Take Simulord's advice. Or at the very least, get Firefox (if you don't already) and a spell-check add on [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/browse/type:3].

My other advice is to make it read better. Repetition makes a review blocky, and by repeating things like these:

The review becomes a bit of a chore to read because the reader thinks to themselves "Didn't s/he already say this?".

Irritating last sentence.

all in all very good game and if you're a fan of fable I would advise you get it?

I would advise you to...fix it?
