I'm having trouble getting my computers mic to work with online games (or at all for that matter). Rather then the usual pink port for the mic, it has a hybrid port for line in devices and mics. In order to determine what it is being used for it has a program called SoundMAX Audio ESP. When I plug in the mic it comes up asks me what the hell I want to use the port for, click mic, go to test it in game, works, get to game, does not work. The program seems to close itself soon after I set it, and thus no longer recognizes my mic. I have no clue how to fix this and a google search has been less then helpful. Does anyone know how to fix this problem without needing to mod my entire computer or point me in the right direction?
