Michael Atkinson isn't a crook! apparently.

So I was catching up on my media watch and I noticed something I thought you guys might get a kick out of, if you haven't already heard. Our favourite anti-game Attorney-General Michael Atkinson has thrown a hissy fit over someone calling him a "crook" in a comment posted on a news story, and not only threatened the website but the guy posting it (he wanted 20 grand as compo!), sending a letter that showed up on Christmas Eve!

20 grand for calling someone names online? Even a name like "crook"? Hell some of the things we bandy about the guy around here must be worth millions!

Honestly as all Australian's know that SA is a bit backwards compared to the rest of the country (apart from Tasmania) but Jesus this takes the cake.

Fuck that. If he wants 20 grand from someone who called him a crook, by that logic he owes every person currently living in Australia approximately 600 million dollars.

Peronally, I wouldn't have called him a crook. I would have called him a whole lot of other things, but they'd probably be censored out.

Actually a moment, something just came to me, he wants compo for someone calling him a name online right? How about we, that is gamers, form a class action lawsuit to sue him for maligning us, after all he called us far worse things then "crooks", and not just in a comment for a news post, but on TV, Radio, Print, etc.

Oh btw Mr. Atkinson I live in Victoria, Australia, my real name is in my profile, as is my email address, I hear-by call you a "crook and a blight on the democratic process", please feel free to sue me mate, I'm poor, I'm partly disabled, but damn can I spin a yarn, I'm the type of person current affairs shows love, and I'll fight you tooth and nail dragging you down every step of the way, because I know I'll have a dozen barristers calling me the same day it goes to air offering to represent me.

Come on I dare you, sue me you jerk, I've love it, and I can think of many other Australian gamers who would as well, come-on, bring it.
