I think the avatars are terrible. I created one. Tried to make it look better once too. Then realised it's so utterly useless, and yet people will spend money to make this creature that does NOTHING look better.

It's a clever extortion from Microsoft. But then, they are experts in their field (Printing money).

The avatars were a neat addition but some of their actions are very dumb. There should be personalities you can chose so you don't have your avatar checking his nails and jumping up and down flamboyantly.

I've never once bought clothing nor will I. My last change was to put the Beatles Rock Band shirt I got for free on.

Why would anyone spend real money on fake clothing for a rather useless avatar?

Damn right I'm not going to be paying for virtual clothing(though paying for that lightsaber is very very tempting)

I do change my avatar's clothes whenever I get tired of staring at the same outfit every time I log on, even made a hippy outfit for him from the last free update they did before the avatar store.

At any rate I would like some more...variety in the clothes I DON'T have to buy or better yet some rewards given from games.

I refuse to buy avatar clothing. Obviously though plenty of people have bought into it and Microsoft considers it a success.

Suit and monocle, my avatar is obviously a wizard.

Since I know I've never changed my outfit once (must be bad habits left over from college)

Argh. I've seen way too many people with bought avatar clothing and it angers me, really. I mean, why not use those points for something useful, like DLC? Hell, even getting a gamer picture pack would be better than useless avatar clothing. I've seen way too damn many people with COG/UNSC armor.

Perhaps if they released some more free options, people would change their clothes even MORE.

Hint, hint, wink wink.
Wait, you're telling me people paid for the clothes changes?

Now if only they could make it so I could use the old dashboard, or at least disable the annoying avatar.

1 set of clothes = about 5 pieces, add an accessorie and a "personal" piece for 7 pieces :p

My girl has locust armor on from the neck down. I hate myself for spending points on it.. but it look so cool.
I also had 400 points and thought, well you can't buy any games with 400mp. Hehe.

I didn't contribute to this. I made my avatar look like an ogre (literally) when the mi- avatars first came out and haven't changed it since.

I have changed the outfit of my Mii... sorry, my... dude... thingy for Xbox 360 so far... twice. Once while setting up my Xbox, and once about a month ago, because I just suddenly felt that his (my?) pants were silly.

Who cares, 150 Million avatar clothes don't mean anything if you have to pay for the most of them. And what they really need to do is change the way the avatar stands.
