Microsoft Uses Gifts to Make Up for Halo 2's End

I'm glad microsoft did something like this for those halo fans, they could have ignored halo 2 fans entirely. But this was also a play done by microsoft to help restore trust in their company among gamers aswell as getting free beta testers that they know will play it until they find those rare glitchs or even the common ones.

I received one of these gifts, and I haven't played more than a few hours of Halo 2 in the last couple years. I guess they're going by total time played in Halo 2, not recent time played? Who knows. All I know is I'm happy to get free stuff.

Hell, I played once for about 30 mins, A month ago on my current GT, and what? I got this stuff too... I don't really know what "Loyal" means, but I'm happy...

That's because if you are a PC gamer, you are already above Halo and Microsoft knows this from sales figures. Go play a cool game like dragon age or Crysis

If I liked either of those games, I'd consider it.
Besides, I like a little cheap entertainment every once in a while. Man does not live on caviar alone, you know.

So how long do I have to play to become one of these "loyal Halo 2 players"? I mean, I could put the game in and just leave myself logged into Live until they shut it down. That would make me loyal, right?

Actually, I think all you needed to do was put the disk in once before they gave it away, I finished the Single Player once on my 360 and they called me an avid fan. So yes, yay for free perks.

Well if they do i want a direct remake of the map. None of this Valhalla bullshit

HEY! Valhalla was a very good map but yeah i do want a Blood Gultch Remake but make it with the grass becuase i didint really like the original halo version of it.

fair enough i suppose. why not release a dedicated server on the 360 tho? oh well i don't have an xbox anyway but if ppl are still playing it (which i don't get cuz halo 3 is pretty much the same just better) then maybe they should support it on the 360? give the weirdos a reason to buy the new one.

Why do I punish myself by reading random peoples dumb opinions? I guess I am just addicted to the hate that we all spew forth cause we think we are important...... myself included ; )

Progress always crushes out previous peoples old school ideas/pass times. It was only a matter of time, and I'm kinda shocked halo 2 multi-player held out as long as it did. I am jealous I didn't get anything for free today too.
