Microsoft wants guienea pigs for next Xbox update

That Major Nelson person has written on his blog that Microsoft are taking users up to help test the next Xbox Live update. This is presumed to be the one that will let Kinect work on all consoles, as well as ESPN, Netflix and Zune and a bunch of other things. Sign up via Major Nelson's blog if you fancy. The new update also has a new look, which can be seen below. Looks...very samey.

I agree that the design looks samey, however drastic change isn't something you want unless your consumers hate what they have. Most don't.

^same. I didn't really like NXE, and this new update looks like it'll be cleaner, plus it'll be great to have the opportunity to give feedback
