This month we have some of the most anticipated game sequels coming out and are having a midnight release.
Such as MW3, Skyrim, and Assassins creed revelations.
So what ones are you going to? On this thread share your past experiences with midnight game releases

This thursday night I'm going to my first midnight game release, Skyrim which I'm very excited for.
I have the opportunity to have this thursday and friday off (PD day and remembrance day) So me and my friend (who as well is a Elder scrolls fan) are going to my local game store to buy Skyrim and spend all of Friday playing it (except for the 11th minute of the elventh hour). I've already pre-ordered and pre-purchased it so all i need to do is pick it up.

EDIT:Sorry for putting this in Off-topic discussion.

Midnight releases lost all relevance considering I buy all my games online and usually get them a day before official release.

So I'll probably be playing Skyrim hours before people are standing outside in the cold waiting for the midnight release.

I want to go to the Skyrim release Thursday, but, alas, I have neither a car or a school day off the next day.

Going to Skyrim's, a friend of mine has already stated that we should consider him socially dead for about a week after release.

I've only been to the midnight release for Halo: Reach. It wasn't eventful in the least, just standing in line telling jokes. I also remember some douches driving by and calling everyone a nerd.
On a related note, does anyone know if there's going to be a midnight release for Skyrim in New Brunswick?

Never attended a midnight release, just didn't care. Only release I was quite interested in getting as soon as possible was Cataclysm, and even that one I got delivered in the morning.

Now digital distribution has spoiled me rotten. I don't even care about disk copies of my games, digital is good enough.

Will attend the MW3 release, not because I'm particularly excited about the game (I don't even think I'll buy it) but because I'm participating in a local competition.

I went with my friend to the Battlefield 3 midnight release, even though I wasn't interested in the game. They had free pizza, cookies, and tea, and I ended up winning a big promotional cardboard cutout as well as a $10 Gamestop certificate.

If there's one for Skyrim at our local Gamestop, then I want to go.

I don't really want to go to the Skyrim midnight release. I'd be really sleepy if I stayed out that late, and it's no fun to play games while sleepy.
I'll just pick it up Friday morning. I can wait a few hours if I've waited this long. Besides. I need my rest if I'm going to be becoming Dhovakin!

Probably, depending on participating stores. so check in at the store your looking at buying the game and say "Are you having a midnight release for Skyrim?"
