So my friend was complaining how her Mac keeps freezing all the time, and instead of being derisory like a good PC technician should be and after listening to this week's escapist podcast, where I was told in no uncertain terms to be more understanding when people by the wrong hardware [tongue in cheek]
Anyway, I told her to reformat it and gave her a link to a step by step how to, after reading through it she said "Ok, so I think I know what to do, but would I need to close skype?" ... I don't even-
And anyway, would it kill Apple to include a recovery partition in their overpriced computers, I tend not to use them myself, but it saves as lot of driver installing when I'm talking my dad through doing it for example. And especially since Mac's tend to be affected by slowdown over time, but then again Apple like to make money from Genius Bar and Apple Care at apple stores.
