Hey, don't diss the Milk in the bags man, it's fucking ingenuis.

Personally, i enjoy the fact that over here in canadaland our 1$ and 2$ is in coin form, It's clever, and it makes it easier to geuss how much cash you have in your pocket.

First of all, it's begin with.

Secondly, also being Canadian, I can indeed attest to the oddness of bagged milk.

Thirdly, we have a fair amount of maple syrup around here, which isn't all that quirky, but sure does taste good on most anything.

Yeah we used to get that around here. It's a fairly decent idea until an entire batch was mysteriously contaminated and went off within a day of buying it, then we went back to the regular bottled stuff...Although I seriously miss living on a dairy farm. Once you've had milk fresh from the storing cooler the rest pales into insignificance.

Quirky things I like or don't like...probably the Live Sheep Shearing on BBC. It's not like the Welsh are living up the the stereotype or anything..

Oh im not dissing it, I just get a chuckle out of it, but yes it is ingenuis,

and I belive the 1 and 2$ coins where made because bills can be ripped easily and wear out quicker. I like them that way makes more sense.

Milk in bag, yeah. So what? Its been that way for as long as i can remember. My guess it that it cost less in "packaging" since it just a little bit of plastic.

We had milk bags in my old elementary school.

Also, I totally thought of boobs first when I saw the title.

How do you keep the bag from being punctured on the way home from the supermarket?

I don't think I could do it. I drop half my bags just trying to make it through the door. But then again, I'm a one-tripper.

What the fuck?

Why would you put milk in a bag?

Or put any liquid in a bag?
I had the idea of using whale milk instead of cow milk, as it is thicker and more "chunky" than cow milk, then we could have had it in bars like confectionary. Or have whale milk lollies that are good for you.

I couldn't get anyone to invest.

These have been poping up in my local super markey wich made me laugh first because I remembered the meme of 'In canada, milk comes in bags', looks like progress in UK for reducing packaging.

Well, I live in Michigan, and someone from Michigan sold a jar of Michigan snow for like, 300$ to someone in Japan. I found that funny.

Yeah, but we just compare ourselves to the States a lot.

Anyway, I'm Canadian too but live in BC so don't really get exposed to the milk in bags, I guess that's only back east. I think it would be harder to put that back in the fridge, but I wouldn't know for sure.

I am proud of our $1 and $2 coins, too, as well as our multicoloured bills. You Americans have to actually look at the design or the amount on the bill. We can just tell quickly by looking at its colour. Unlucky bastards.

Finally, the best things about living in Canada:
-we haven't destroyed the English language
-barely anyone has guns, except for hunters in the prairies
-it's not illegal to download copyrighted stuff off the internet
-no other country really hates us for any reason

The plastic used is actually fairly thick. My family has always bought milk in bags, and we never ever punctured one by accident.

I'm just surprised that milk in bags isn't something common in all countries!

I've said this before and I'll say it again I hate the SI units in the USA for it to complex, I understand multiples of 10 maybe difficult to understand but crap like 80% + of the world uses the metric system!
