Im always trying to get there by using the lava to make a portal but every time i try to do it i somehow end up falling in the lava and all of my buckets disintegrating. (im not very good with lava lol)Vinny Albrecht said:have you been to the nether yet? thats something to check out too if your doing single player.
^^THIS^^ So much fun and gets rid of all that pesky cobblestone. Also makes a great world for being constantly attacked by enemies.Fr said:anc[is]Block out the sun. Get tons of stone, and at the highest possible point on the map start a ceiling/floor whatever large enough to block your normal stomping grounds
That would be amazing but id need to mine up the whole world getting all the stone, and i would probably shred more picks than jimmy Hendrix after 127 cups of Coffey.DasDestroyer said:Make a 128-block high castle that's 100 blocks long and 100 blocks wide, divide it into 4 block high floors with stairs going from one to the other, make each floor a maze, and don't place any torches.
you just used itGreenhand said:Because it, as a letter, is unappealing and seems rather phoned in. Z, honestly? Three haphazard lines? Give me a fucking break.
On Topic: I'd also suggest a windmill. Why? Because it's a mill, for the wind.
I will actually go the opposite way everyone's headed so far and tell you to start small.sseh2661 said:basically iv recently gotten mine craft and iv gotten a good feel for the game and built a good house and can move around the world with ease. but now that my house is built I want something to work on. Yes! Build That. Then build some hobbits so you can take them there. Also find a valley a few miles away and build Helms Deep.Baron Von Evil Satan said:Isengard. Build Isengard.
I only use 'that letter' when the word looks right with it. 'Colonise' looks perfectly fine. 'Haphasard' looks like the name of some odd reptile. 'N' is fine provided you use a bit of a curve here and there, maybe some nice flourishes and such (I'm a calligrapher).Fetzenfisch said:you just used itGreenhand said:Because it, as a letter, is unappealing and seems rather phoned in. What i wonder, why do you think N is ok then?
On Topic. Build a giant creeper out of green wool and tnt, then lure as much creepers as you can to it and give them some of their own medicine
So you cannot add flourish to the Z? Instead of ignoring why not innovate?Greenhand said:I only use 'that letter' when the word looks right with it. 'Colonise' looks perfectly fine. On a less 'lettery' note, your suggestion with the giant creeper sounds pretty good. Maybe a huge model skeleton with an arrow-shooting dispenser at the end of the bow.
