Then after you finish building Isengard build some hobbits and take them there.Baron Von Evil Satan said:Isengard. Build Isengard.
Pretty much the first thing I do in any new world is build a Mob Grinder Tower once I finish my first house. It's basically a tower with water channels that funnel all hostile monsters that spawn inside into a central channel that carries the monsters into a lava blade which kills them, then the drops fall into a channel underneath which funnels them into a collection point.sseh2661 said:basically iv recently gotten mine craft and iv gotten a good feel for the game and built a good house and can move around the world with ease. but now that my house is built I want something to work on. Im not really into the whole sculpture or statue building thing. I would like to build things im actually going to use
I was going to say to re-create Sauzer's Pyramid (Fist of the North Star reference) but an underwater city (or any underwater building) would be pretty bad ass o.o!!Head Chef Dom said:An underwater city. Like Rapture. Or a castle floating in the clouds
Flourishes on 'that goddamned letter' typically come off looking like they're copied off of other, better letters, even when they aren't.PettingZOOPONY said:So you cannot add flourish to the Z? 'N' is fine provided you use a bit of a curve here and there, maybe some nice flourishes and such (I'm a calligrapher).Fetzenfisch said:you just used itGreenhand said:Because it, as a letter, is unappealing and seems rather phoned in. Z, honestly? Three haphazard lines? Give me a fucking break.
On Topic: I'd also suggest a windmill. Why? Because it's a mill, for the wind.
What i wonder, why do you think N is ok then?
On Topic. Build a giant creeper out of green wool and tnt, then lure as much creepers as you can to it and give them some of their own medicine
On a less 'lettery' note, your suggestion with the giant creeper sounds pretty good. Maybe a huge model skeleton with an arrow-shooting dispenser at the end of the bow.

What in the hell is wrong with you? Other than the fact your not a good calligrapher.Greenhand said:Flourishes on 'that goddamned letter' typically come off looking like they're copied off of other, better letters, even when they aren't.PettingZOOPONY said:So you cannot add flourish to the Z? Still on topic! Lighthouses. When you wander off looking for some sheep, there's few things worse than getting completely lost. For added safety, set up each lighthouse as a sort of safe house, so you don't get vaporised by creepers.
I always start with castle walls to keep out the baddies with a shelter of some sort in the middle, or build a house right into a mountain for starters. Get yourself comfortable. After that I usually build sky towers with bridges moving in a grid pattern high up in the sky so I can move across the terrain quickly without worrying about monsters at night, except maybe spiders. It gets me back and forth to seperate bases easily, especially when I decide to build on the water.sseh2661 said:basically iv recently gotten mine craft and iv gotten a good feel for the game and built a good house and can move around the world with ease. but now that my house is built I want something to work on. Yes, but, you know, a tasteful cock and balls. Not one of those tacky cock and balls. Something with oak trim and gold, but not too much gold.TheFloBros said:A golden cock'n-balls
