I'm sure you saw the recent thread about the world of LOTR in Minecraft (if you didn't, a server has made from Bag End to Moria and are continuing).

Unfortunately, this made me kind of sad because I can't build anything that epic, a reaction quite a few people had. So Escapists, what large constructions have you made/helped make/are making? (If you don't know how to take screenshots in Minecraft, F1 removes HUD and F2 takes a screenshot and puts it in the 'screenshots' folder (%appdata%, .minecraft, screenshots for windows).

Sadly the server I play on is Down at the moment, but I do have this picture:

This is my house, perched precariously over a lake, it is not finished, and probably never will as I have abandoned it in favour of working underwater. I do plan to return, but I am easily distracted.

Good Lord those pictures are tiny. I'm sure your constructions are quite beautiful, but I can't see a damn thing in those little thumbnails.

Anyway, I just started Minecraft not long ago, so I'm more concerned about getting a decent stockpile of raw materials before I get started on anything major (that, and I'm too dedicated to my current world at the moment to start all over in Peaceful mode).

I am full of envy...I play the free version but need to switch over. I love how the water flows naturally in those screenshots! It doesn't just flood everything.
