Minecraft Help PLEASE!!

Ok everyone, before any of you tell me to go search the Minecraft forums, I'll be happy to tell you that I've searched both google and the Minecraft forums for 2 days straight and found no results.

So I come to you all for help. My problem is that whenever I go to register for Minecraft I enter in all of my info correctly, making sure the Username hasn't been used.
However once I fill out this info I go to register. It's then that the site says that my email is already in use and can't register with my current email address.

This is where I went to, to fill out the info:

I say you should try to get the password to the account tied to your email account.

Either you score a free account on some jerk who stole your email info's dime, or you find out you made an account to play classic forever ago and forgot about it.

Get your password sent to your email. You don't need a username for that, do you?

Just contact there support or whatever they have. Also go into your email and check for the message in deleted or read or whatever.

I had a similar issue, and it got worse when the same bloke who was using my email changed the password. luckily, I had a different email to change the password, and the issue was resolved after sending a message to Mojang.

You've got two options now:
1) Contact Customer Support and tell them your predicament, they will either; a) sort it out for you. b) dissociate the current linked account, freeing up your email.
2) Make a new email to use instead.

Maybe you already created an Account and forgot about it? Happened to me once, but I don't recall what game.

Click the login button, Click "Forgot Name"

Enter Email, Go to email find your account name go back to the login page. Click "Forgot Password" Enter your username.

Really simple, Because the account is wither a old account you forgot about or an account where someone used your E-Mail

I don't see the problem.

You've got two options now:
1) Contact Customer Support and tell them your predicament, they will either; a) sort it out for you. b) dissociate the current linked account, freeing up your email.
2) Make a new email to use instead.

Neither of those are his only options, There are far more. Customer Support doesn't need to get involved at all and if someone was using his account ( To Which I Doubt) He can have it, Considering they used his email. Besides for that it's probably a old account of his he forgot about.

Are you broken in the head? If its saying your email is already in use then its already got you as an account. Simply do the "Forgot Username? Verify Email?" option at the site and it will send to the email address you own. Linky: http://www.minecraft.net/login

That is of course providing you do in fact own that email address and aren't just saying you own it under the belief that somehow we'll explain how to get into someone else's account.

Can't you just do the lost password thing? When you're at the login screen, click "forgot my password" or whatever. All it should need for that is your email address. Then it'll send your account info to you in an email, both username and a new password.

That's why I found this predicament a bit weird.

The point remains; try what I said. If it says you already have an account registered to that email address then when you click the forgot username feature it will send an email to that address. Forget that you dont think you've already signed up and so on, just follow those steps and see what happens.

Because I, myself never personally registered. I just didn't think I could use said method if I didn't have an account

Why don't you just make a new email? It will only take you two minutes, and you only have to use it for Minecraft.
