Minecraft help.

Okay, I've downloaded a friends minecraft map save, and I unzipped it etc. Put it into .minecraft -> saves -> World1
I open up minecraft and there world isn't there, can anyone please help ?
I've got Minecraft up-to-date and everything.

Maybe you should try putting it into a new folder in the saves file.
May be because you stuck it into an existing world file. May not have liked that much >.>

Nah nah nah. I haven't got any save folders, I cleared them all, 'Cause I had shit maps.
But I can try to make a new save foler.

Yeah, they are. But level.dat was just 'level' and I changed it back to level.dat in high hopes, but nothing worked.
