I would quite like the communitys info on minecraft. I'm thinking about getting it. Should i buy it? Is it better to play it in browser or download it? How long does the 20 euros last? Anything would help. Oh, and will it run well on my laptop.

Download, then you can fullscreen it. Infinite playability alone or with friends on a server (which is great fun), no two worlds are the same (unless you use seeds, but where's the fun in that)

I think the twenty euros lasts through beta, any addons after final release for you new fish are optional and will probably be avilable for about three euros each(ish?)

Worth it, get it.

I played it obsessively for a few weeks and then got kind of tired of it and havn't played it much since. Thinking of getting together with some friends on a multiplayer server soon though so I might be goingback to it.

A game like minecraft is only limited by your creativity and patience, and since I'm not terribly creative I kinda ran out of steam, it's still a great game though and well worth the price ( I bought it during alpha so I got half off, but I still think its worth full price if you think you'll like it)

Single player got boring for me fairly quickly, but playing online has been quite a bit more fun.

It's actually pretty fun. I was a skeptic and didn't like the look of the graphics. I decided to chance it-good decision. I started playing it at 9pm and next thing I knew it was 4am in the morning but I had tunneled to the center of the earth and built lava world.

I also started a RP minecraft diary that I'll get around to posting on a blog somewhere at some point.

Main con is that the actual developer is bad at releasing new content but the modding community come up trumps every time.

I've recently gotten bored of Minecraft... after playing it for two months for a few hours every day. So for 20 euros, you can get a shitload of play time, especially if you start to uase mods when the vanilla game gets a bit dull.
TL;DR: Get it.
