Minecraft Music

The two songs "Cat" and "Dog" by C418 seemed really similar, so I tried splicing them together. The result:

I just started "Cat" playing a few seconds after I started "Dog" and recorded what came out...
...is it me, or were these 2 tracks MEANT to be played together? When I listen to either one on its own now, it sounds a bit incomplete... It's also very hard to tell when one of the songs ends whilst the other carries on... It might be an Easter Egg, or it might just be me... So, escapists, what do you think? Am I onto something here, or do I need to improve my taste in music?

I love Minecraft music, and I agree with you on this one.
There are quite a few people who do things like this. If you want to see some more, check out the Medium album from Homestuck. I'm pretty sure all the songs can be combined in different ways to give tons more songs.

Didn't Radiohead fans once notice something similar to this with 2 of Radiohead's albums (OK Computer and In Rainbows)?
