Minecraft, Notch and Mojang Documentary

I'm pretty excited for a proposed documentary that is going to be made about Minecraft and Notch and Mojang. It's being done by 2 player Productions, who are responsible for the Penny Arcade Documentary [http://www.penny-arcade.com/patv/pa-the-series/101/] on PATV [http://www.penny-arcade.com/patv/pa-the-series/].

Anyway, following a post on Notch's blog [http://notch.tumblr.com/post/3425368124/2-player-productions-wants-to-make-a-documentary-about] I saw that 2PP is trying to raise money for the project. They claim that in order to make the documentary they will need to raise $150,000 in the next 32 days.

So they started a Kickstarter page to try and get the interwebs to help fund them:

I figured I would try and raise awareness of the project. I'm a huge Minecraft fan, and I would personally love to see the documentary. For instance, I really liked seeing videos of the very, very first versions of Minecraft. I came in during the Survival Mode Alpha, so I never played classic. And Markus aka Notch seems like a cool dude.

What do you guys think?

Interesting but I'd like to see the actual game released first.

I think I'm more interested in playing the game than watching a documentary about it. This feels a little hollow and bandwagony, making a documentary about the current big thing before everybody forgets about it. Much like the new Justin Beiber film.

Certainly interesting - I also recognised a lot of the places where they filmed. ;P Haha, cold, snowy Sweden.

I'm not gonna give them any more of my cash though, I've already prompted like 5 friends to buy the game already and I'm pretty much broke. But, I'm relatively sure this will go somewhere, but honestly, it might be a bit of an overkill. The game is only Beta.

Also, sad face at the bad pronounciation from the folks at Mojang. I'm better at speaking English than they are... But, meh, doesn't matter TOO much.
