So, this has started about Wednesday, Thursday. Anyways, it was night time in MineCraft. I had a bed in the area I was in so I decided to sleep through the night (Like I usually do). As I got into the bed and the screen started fading purple, suddenly, I was out of the bed and had a heart gone. When I looked around, I noticed there was A Zombie. I quickly killed it but realized there was no way A Zombie could naturally spawn in there (The light in my house was definitely enough to keep monsters at bay). I tried it again, and this time a Skeleton popped me out of bed. Killing it, I decided to start a new server. I built it up, filled it with lights, and the first night I went to sleep there everything was fine. The night fallowing, I was attacked again by a (Laughing) Skeleton. I am thinking there is something wrong with my Minecraft game, but has anyone else gotten this problem? And if anyone had this problem, how do I fix it myself?

That happened to me before, but that was because i left the door open.
Could just be an entrance you didn't close/fill in.

No, my door was definitely closed those several times. The Monsters just sort of pop out from no where, and they always stand at the bottom right side of my bed.

I'm not completely sure, but I think there is a bug where if your bed is against a wall (multiplayer only I think) which is only 1 block thick, then no matter how secure, or lit up your room is, a monster will still spawn.

This happened to me and my friend in a multiplayer server, but was easily fixed my just moving the beds elsewhere.

If it in single player, just make sure the room is completely sealed, with no dark areas, and just to be safe make sure either the walls are two blocks thick, or just move the bed away from the wall.

If you have a double door..., well, don't have a double door, a friend of mine got that problem because of that. If you happen to have a double door, then you must actually leave one of the doors open when you go to sleep...

Hope this helps :)

God dammit...
they're techniques are evolving, it's only a matter of time...
You might of built it on top of a mob spawner.
That can happen.

Oddly enough wooden doors don't seem to stop monsters from spawning on you when you use a bed. Perhaps that could be the problem?

I had this problem as well... Apparently your bed being against an outside wall can let them inside through a glitch or something. Just make sure it's a block or two away from any wall and you should be fine so long as they can't spawn inside your place.

Don't ever use Double doors. All my houses have a one door entrance to them.

Perhaps, but I didn't build my house in a Dungeon room... And even if I did, I would have probably destroyed the Spawner.

Perhaps. I'll try it.

Even though the walls are definitely more then one block thick, I think this might be it. I'll try that and let you all know if that fixes it.

This happens to me a lot.
Don't place your bed against an outside wall, or even better place it on the second/third/forth flour.

Its a glitch, nothing more.

This. You can't have the bed pressed against an outside wall or that will happen.

That used to happen to me on peaceful, which was... perplexing. xD

Apparently buolding aned near a wall makes monsters spawn when you're near a bed. probably a glitch Notch hasn't been able to fix yet.
