Minecraft Servers

OK I know most people don't like support questions but whatever.
Yesterday I set up my own Minecraft server, which me and a couple of friends were playing on for hours, I saved the level before I disconnected, but now when I load up the server it loads up a new world. How can I get the server to load up the world I saved yesterday?

Also for discussion value, do you play on a Minecraft server? Have you made your own one like me or do you play on the more 'public' ones?

It is pretty easy to make one, and I've found the game is a hell of a lot more fun when you're playing it with friends.
You can download the server software from the main site, but I think you need a pretty good PC/Internet to run it well.

To load a level you downloaded onto your server, replace the server_level.dat file with the new map. Save the old map somewhere else so you can load it again if you change your mind.
