So I just finally am getting the hang of survival and for the first time made a pickaxe and when mining... I went down into the dark cave near my base with only light coming from the entrance. When I looked around and finally saw ore's I began to mine. Thats when I got a little problem. Suddenly sand began to fall from above into the cave and so did water from the forzen lake above. I swam myself out and began to mine again only to have more sand fall on me.
After getting some ore though I began to leave the cave and now I have made torches. I shall be back more to update this as I go along.
