NO.....oh dear god please no. Up walls?!
Fuck.
As for my scariest, it involved a spider actually. The first night, I had been mucking around during the day so had no coal for torches. My home was a quickly-built fort that I'd modified out of the natural landscape... As I huddled in the darkness staring up at the sky, listening to the spiders and skeletons outside, I began to feel a sense of calm as I could sit here in safety.
SUDDENLY SPIDER. The fucker dropped out of nowhere onto my face, as I was staring upwards.
Seeing one of those scary motherfuckers literally spring out of the night sky hissing at you made me jump like.... I don't know, it was terrifying![]()
On my first ever day, I was generally exploring and picking up dirt and sand. I'd made no picks or anything, because, oddly, I had found no trees.
As night fell I really quickly put together a house, and had to sit there. In pitch darkness.
So I dug a whole in my roof, and placed dirt around it so nothing could jump in.
It worked, and I was staring at the night, waiting until I could move freely again.
But then I got paranoid of Zombies, so I filled in the block just incase.
After a few more minutes, I wondered whether it was daylight yet, so, cautiously, I dug out a dirt block.
I couldn't see, so I didn't realise it was on ground level, and I dug it two spaces wide.
Exactly the measurements a Spider needs to get at you.
You can guess what happened next.
8 glowing red eyes were all I saw, and the screeching was all I heard as I was mauled by the creature.
