minecraft trouble

so i downloaded minecraft a few months ago and it promptly decide not to work. so i deleted it off my computer and just got back into it yesterday. now, i have a mac, will it work if i just click download browser version?

it should, yeah, and if you download the jar version, you can run that instead. Just make sure you've got java installed.

errrrr, so i can just click on download at the home page? or is there a roundabout way of getting to the jar version?

try it, if that fails, try what these guys said, if taht fails, play in the browser till he gets the stand alone to work right

i still haven't gotten a clear answer, how do i get the jar version? is there a specific roundabout way?

http://www.minecraft.net/download.jsp there's both the mac osx version and the jar version under linux.
