Hello Escapists. =D
For anyone who has bought Minecraft, or is planning on it, why don't we share some good servers, or perhaps organise an Escapist server.

Feel free to share anything about what you've done, or pictures/videos of your creations, or post any questions if you've got em.

I've recently purchased it, and am having heaps of fun (was up till 6am last night ), but haven't ventured online yet. Looking forward to finding a good server and having a blast XD

There's a user group---the Minecraft Appreciation Club, I think it's called. They've got an Escapist server.

I don't play Minecraft myself, but I've heard a lot of folks here do.

I'll upload a server with my old pictures on.

It's not hugely impressive, but remember the big wall took over 4000 mined-for-that-purpose stone blocks!

Plus I'm working on something secret :3

To be honest, not very. As cool as the creations of others look, I like my building sims to have a lot more layers. Minecraft is too simplistic to hold my attention.

Best server in the world is the NeoTerra server at meincraft.com. Not a typo. Meincraft. Just type meincraft.com into the IP bar and it'll take you there... I was gonna donate, but Mum left for Chicago the day she said she's stop putting it off, so, so much for that.

By the way, a couple awesome things to do:

-Make a reed farm that encircles the entire mainland
-Make a house out of bookcases
-Level half a mountain and create a lake on it, with a waterslide coming off
-Find a fuckin' huge valley and make skyroads
-Make a waterslide with a HUGE drop, then take a boat off it
-Be awesome

I just built a cool base that looks aesthetically pleasing and is quite resilient even to creepers. I also prepared a chamber for the portal in the next update. I cant wait!

im currently building a 45x45 wide, 15 deep and 25 high Colosseum, didn't realise i would have to level 2 mountains to build it, i only have a quarter left to do, this arena, has 3 levels of seating including royal private seating, a awesome lava stream that activates the gates and a small town surrounding it

Dont forget the cactusfarm around your house's defence, no undead bugger gets through that.
