JESUS! That video surprised me.The_root_of_all_evil said:Not in a million years. Can you imagine if you lost connection or someone came to the door and up pops a creeper?
Erm, that's not it.The_root_of_all_evil said:PoisonUnagi said:HELLO CREEPER!
WHAT ARE YOU DOING?
Making... pizza...
Ten thousand cookies for the reference![]()
I'll be taking those cookies, and EXPLODING THEM!
it will be optional.lunncal said:As long as it's optional, then i think it's a great idea. One of the reasons rogue-likes and such are fun is that death has real meaning, the entire game becomes much more tense and immersive when you know you could lose your character at any time.
Besides which, if its optional then what are the downsides?
That's a really good idea. Also, could be even more cruel. Imagine, a project forever unfinished... All you can do is stare at it, and the crater in the ground where the creeper got you.jonnosferatu said:I already do this.
THAT SAID, I think the change should be that the world goes into "read-only" mode after you die - basically just turn noclip on and remove the player's ability to do anything other than run around looking at the stuff he's done.
As a rule, I turn-down the volume when a video is quiet for too long (if it's one I haven't seen). About 10 years back those "shocker" videos were way too popular for their own good, so I built-up an immunity from too much exposure.Flac00 said:JESUS! That video surprised me.
