Still alive is a great game for MOST Valve fans, it's got a good graphical value and clever ideas. The Game it self is mainly a rip off of Portals, The tests are the same so your not seeing much. The diffrence? This one has more levels and thats about it. It's a great game sure, I love it but for 1200 points think, Ya it's a good idea to be a downloadable game but for the people who own "The Orange Box" I think It would be better as game content. What they should have done is also put on Game content along with the downloadable game. Other that All those complaints id give it an 8/10 for people who don't have "The Orange Box" and a 6/10 for those who do. IN HELL I AM SPENDING 1200 POINTS FOR GAME CONTENT!!!!

I think you're making a lot of grammar errors for a very very short paragraph, and that is very very bad. It makes it harder to read, especially harder to take seriously, and for as short as it is, editing would take no more than a few minutes.

For one, you only kinda mention a little of a part of your complaints, as well as your praises. You touch everything once, then pack up and leave. It leaves me with more questions than answers, and reads like a fanboy rant instead of a review. Let's backtrack a bit, and see what we can do.

To start, tell us about the game. For those of us who haven't played Portal (no "s"), tell us that it's a portal-based First-Person-Puzzler with a unique take on the FPS genre. Built on the Source engine, etc. etc.

Secondly, you don't even mention that Still Alive is a 360 game. I'm just guessing that... PSN also has purchasable games, as does the Wii. On that note, what about the users who have Orange Box for the PC, do they not count for this game?

Outside of that, are the puzzles new and interesting? Is it the fact that it's essentially a different-leveled version of Portal that bothers you? If the gameplay's still fun, does it matter?

Also, if I'm not mistaken, $12 is not a bad price for a 60% ranked game.

Too short, even for a "Mini Review," in the sense that it doesn't answer the important question, nor address enough for the reader to make good conclusions from it.

I'd say this whole thing needs a re-write. I shouldn't have more text worth in questions then you have worth of review... I just shouldn't.

I know that this review was titled a "mini" review, so I won't comment on how short it is... Still, it was poorly written, didn't tell me anything I didn't already know, and just doesn't make sense.

Also - "The game it self is mainly a rip off on Portals"

... It is Portal? How can it rip itself off?

No good. You've got unnecessary plurals, terrible pacing, it's too short and you've not talked about the game in any great detail. I'm also left scratching my head. You say that it's got the same levels as the original Portal, however you also say that they should have added game content, but you don't say what you mean by game content (original portal levels, or something else?). It's a confusing contradiction.

Try harder please.
