I have a chaos space marine army which im working on (warhammer 40k), which i discovered earlier on doesn't actually have a leader (bought it from a friend, it was premade and base coated but nothing painted). Ive had a load of trouble with it so far because EVERY marine in the army has a chainsword and a bolt pistol, no long range units at all. Also units were missing shoulder pads and backpacks, so you can imagine im not too thrilled with the purchase. The HQ that came with it was Abbadon the despoiler which is currently being stripped because it appears to have been dunked in chaos black paint multiple times.
Anyway Abbadon is pretty point heavy anyway so I'm planning on swapping him with a chaos lord for the time being.
Now, because im a complete showoff git at the best of times and i like to take pride in my work, i had an idea for my chaos lord. I want to put him on a dragon.
Okay, i know dragons arent in any 40k codex, so it wouldnt be able to do anything. It wouldnt have any rules, it would just act as a chaos lord. I dont care about that though, i just want it to look badass. I mean hey, if you're slowly losing your humanity to dark forces in exchange for awesome powers, you may as well do it in style!
Thing is though, i dont know where to get a dragon miniature from. I live in the UK, so if i have to buy it off the internet i would prefer not to have to import it if possible.
The chaos lord is 28 millimetres tall, and the dragon needs to look evil if possible. Im not very good with green stuff so i doubt i would be able to turn a regular dragon into a chaos one.
I looked at the GW fantasy dragons but i dont really like the look of them and they're about £40, i was hoping to spend something closer to £20 if possible.
Does anyone know where i should look? Cause im at a loss here.
