Not bad! I do like how by the end it started to sound more chaotic, sort of showing the progress of the show. And now I must watch the entire series again!

As someone who hasn't seen a single episode of Breaking Bad, I really enjoyed this song. I'm sure it would've been better if I had known the context behind the lyrics, but on its own, it holds up pretty well. I just may actually watch the show now. Great work as usual, Gavin!

Heh, I actually did almost the whole song in one straight take, adding in some layers after for the choruses. Any time I do that, and don't focus too much on making it 'perfect', people really seem to like it. I guess it just feels more natural to the ear?Larcenist said:

Well, I would argue that since we are all humans and imperfect beings, when you start to fine tune the song to much, it starts to sound overproduced. Ie you will be chipping away at what makes the song human; its soul if you will. And that's probably why we like to experience our idols at live shows, even though the sound quality at a gig is typically inferior compared to a recording played back on your favorite head phones.MiracleOfSound said:
