Not bad! I do like how by the end it started to sound more chaotic, sort of showing the progress of the show. And now I must watch the entire series again!

And now this has reminded me that there will never be any new Breaking Bad to watch, and how sad that is. :(
There will however be some "Better Call Saul", which should make you happy.

Awesome song, Gav, and a great finale for an even greater year. Looking at the tracklist of Level 4 I gotta say, I think it has even more favourites than Level 3. Can't wait to see what you have in stock for us in 2014!

Fantastically done Gav! I'm really liking the last couple. I could see this being in a playlist next to Redemption Blues :)
Also, yes, the spinning gun bit at the end was fantastic.

As someone who hasn't seen a single episode of Breaking Bad, I really enjoyed this song. I'm sure it would've been better if I had known the context behind the lyrics, but on its own, it holds up pretty well. I just may actually watch the show now. Great work as usual, Gavin!

Love it.

I would very much look forward to a second one from Jesse's perspective, as their fluctuating relationship is central to the show. :)

I hope it still appeals to people who may not have seen the show too, it's also very much just a song about a man looking back on his life and feeling a little defeated and angry.

Just to completely ruin the song for everyone,
this
is what I can't get out of my head thanks to the song's tagline. Apologies all - I'm afraid I have something of a mess on my hands.

As others have said, the spinning gun bit at the video was cool way to the video.

I'll probably be listening to this one on repeat for awhile.

You are a horrible person Teoes!

Why couldn't you just keep it to yourself! Now we'll all have that image forced into this song XD

Putting the amazing instrumental work aside, I think the vocal work during the first verse is the best you've pulled off in any song so far.

Heh, I actually did almost the whole song in one straight take, adding in some layers after for the choruses. Any time I do that, and don't focus too much on making it 'perfect', people really seem to like it. I guess it just feels more natural to the ear?

Like I said on the last video, I love the atmosphere in your songs. I've never seen a single episode of Breaking Bad and am only vaguely aware of the plot, but through this song I got a real feel for Walt's character, and how his circumstances are forcing this once good man to become a monster, and just how aware of his own downfall he is.

Never saw the show, but I really liked this song. Well done Gav, I think your massive output of art is just proof to the likeness that inspiration is like river and not a lake.

Well, I would argue that since we are all humans and imperfect beings, when you start to fine tune the song to much, it starts to sound overproduced. Ie you will be chipping away at what makes the song human; its soul if you will. And that's probably why we like to experience our idols at live shows, even though the sound quality at a gig is typically inferior compared to a recording played back on your favorite head phones.

This new one and New Black Gold are easily my favourite songs by Miracle Of Sound. Something about Dunne's voice just lends itself to songs about melancholic reflection.
