Hope Ubisoft are paying you for this, you've basically put their entire marketing department out of work!

Really like it, especially the basse line. Nice french pronunciation too. ^^

Wow, I didn't even want to play Unity until this video. I hope you like making Ubisoft's marketing department look incompetent for not doing this themselves.

Song almost made me change my mind about not bothering with the series anymore. Ubi really should be paying you for this.

Nice change up with the well pronounced French! Perhaps it was just because I actually remembered what most of it meant, but it really worked for me either way.

It's good song and I like the way you incorporated the "justice runs in crimson rivers" line in the song by using french.

I would agree everyone else that this does a better job of marketing then what seen ubsoft do so far. I have very little interested in buying game but it is still more interest then I had earlier.

If you think this song sounds amazing on here, download the FLAC (or ALAC if you use iTunes) version from Bandcamp and have a listen to that on a half-decent set of speakers/headphones (Even Apple's stock earphones take on a whole new life on lossless). You will be blown away by how much there really is in here. This song is simply AMAZING!

Another nice one. More continuity between songs is always fun. Altough, to everyone praising the french prononciation, I'll assume you're not native french speaker. It's acceptable (a lot better than lots of english spoken by french people I've heard), but not great, mostly due to the difficulty to differenciate "OU" and "U" sound. The thing is that there isn't any english equivalent to the french "U".

Exactly, the bandcamp versions have much higher quality then everywhere else to the point there's more clarity in the mix and you can hear each instrument better!

I haven't spoken in French in about 12-13 years so yeah, it's gonna be rusty.

I wish they WERE paying me, some money would be nice! Haha. They're great for promoting fan made stuff though, they share it on their social media & the like.

Sorry for the confusion, I wasn't speaking of you when I was talking about native french speakers (Of course I know you're not, or are you ?), but the other commenters.

As for the quality, I re-listened to it, many times, and it's not as bad as I thought I heard it the first time. The last "tu" is perfect and kinda makes up for everything else ;).

Great song, I, too, might actually try the series beyond part II just due to your music :)

On another note, maybe someone more aware of the story might explain: This is the first time I saw (part of) the ACU trailer - it seems like the protagonist is actually fighting against Republican forces (blue coats, tricolore banners) there. So I assume this is set during the reign of terror rather than the early days of the revolution? If so, I'm actually intrigued by the game's setting for a change...

Are my ears terrible if I can't tell the difference between the bandcamp and yt versions? I've seen you say things like this before and it seems really weird to me.

Another awesome song from Gavin! I've seen the trailers for AC:Unity more times than I can count because I CANNOT WAIT FOR IT ANYMORE! That "two fathers" line has me intrigued, that Arno is an Assassin and son of another assassin, but was adopted by a Templar family, so I don't know how that works.

Now please do one for AC: Rogue!

Depends what you're listening on! You won't hear the difference on a laptop speaker, for example. But on a good headset it's, in my opinion, night & day. Crisper, clearer high frequencies, more separation of each part and and a more booming, defined low end

Nice!

I Also appreciate the "Justice Runs in Crimson Rivers" coming back (in French no less).

Your AC songs are always great (though, like the game itself, I didn't care as much for the AC3 ones). This one isn't quite as great as the Black Flag one, but still great.

edit: apparently, I've a predilection for the word "Great"
Awesome, awe-inspiring, rapturous, exemplary, superb, w/e. You get the gist, it was good.

Oh man...I always look forward to hearing "Justice Flows in Crimson Rivers" in these songs ^^

To be fair, this is the standard it took in order to beat that co-op trailer with "Everybody wants to rule the world" playing.
Say what you will about Ubi's finished products, but damn, they really know how to make you hype.
It's just that Gav does it naturally :p
