I know i'm late, but this is awesome. Finished Portal 2 and went straight here. Almost as good as Coultons 2 songs.

Yes! Finally played the game so now I can watch this video!
Thanks for the spoiler warning, btw! :)

Awesome song, and a good take on a British accent.

I just beat Portal 2 for the first time on Friday. Man, I loved Wheatley, he was such a charming character.

After the first, like two hours of playing Portal 2 it was frustrating me how I knew I'd heard his voice somewhere before and just couldn't figure it out. Thanks to IMDB I realized it was Mr. Phillips from Bromwell High! XD

Wheatley, you need a girlfriend. Here, I've got a phone number for you: 555-247-6699. Tell her who sent you and she should be fine with it. Also, you'll finally have company of the same intellectual level as you.

(I reckon only about 1% of the people who read this will get that joke.)

In all seriousness, this was a pretty cool song, with lots of very well-hidden references to the game itself (which I beat before watching this after seeing the spoiler warning.) Hope you keep making these, and making them well! I don't mind you taking your time if they're better for it, really!

Not a big fan of the way the sentences "My IQ's the infinite space from here to the moon" is repeated with..it sounds off. If it was just that one time in the chorus, that would've been sufficient, at least to me.

I really liked this song as well. I think between yesterday and today I may have played it 20 times. I just now got to reading the comments. I also thought the line about his IQ meant it was high. I was thinking in terms of the space in between the two planes created by here and the moon which depending on how you think of it could be infinite as I don't think anyone has yet to reach the end of space and I don't think there would be a better term to describe the vastness of space in any one direction to it's end as the chances one would be able to relate such a figure accurately in a limited time span are quite low unless one fabricated a new word to relate the value such as pi. Though I do understand that that was not what you meant that was my interpretation. That line didn't actually catch my attention except for the difficulty of trying to sing along with it.

The parts that caught me were as follows

I've been living in your shadow for 999999
Reason: I have been working a job that could be equated to slavery for the last 4 years.

Keeping tabs on every machination and production line
Reason: Recently I have been playing Dawn of War games and this seemed like something that could have come from there particularly the word machination.

And since you're dead I've quite appreciated not being your slave
Reason: I recently quit the a fore mentioned job and I share this sentiment quite well.

Maybe someday I might get to taste the big time for a change
Reason: I would like to get something out there that really mattered but so far have been unable to do so partially due to being a slave for so long.

There's so much I'd do for science here, so much I'd rearrange
Reason: I think the way the government runs makes no sense and I would rearrange it in such a way to promote the creativity currently constrained by our governors/masters.

I am also continually told that I can't do anything of importance which is pretty close to being called a moron though not literally. So I identify with that as well.

I am also a computer programmer, intelligent and analytical so being told I can't do anything drives me nuts as well. I am smart but can't apply it do to people saying I can't be smart. I have been doing dumb things for people who won't accept my smart ideas for so long that I automatically do dumb things just to shut them up about not doing the dumb things that they think are smart.

By the way I have never played the Portal games though I think I may have to after watching this.I also noticed is that so far no one else has commented on the verses.

My other favorite is The Age of the Dragon. I appreciate it's call to action. and enduring the blight to see the light at the end.
