Nope, it was 'X' to move forward and analogue stick to turn! There was no reverse button. YOu may be thinking of the bike section?
Maybe we had a different control setup.

I've played that section around 4 times now, several times I spent it just smacking people with the wheelie bin.

My controls were definitely RT: Forward, LT: Backward.

I'm not saying you're wrong that yours was X but mine wasn't.
Mustbe different control schemes yeah, just tried it again and it's still 'x' on mine! I know there's a couple in the menu alright.

3 things.

1. If there isn't a contraceptive in the Halloween isle of Walgreen's this year called Zombrex, I will be very disappointed. This idea should be capitalized upon!

2. Edgar suit reference! Woo!

3. Great review. I think you were very fair. Some people will love this game because it is just like DR1. With that in mind though, I'd be interested in seeing if the sales are as good as the first one. If I recall, the release schedule for when Dead Rising came out wasn't quite so packed with triple A titles. I could be wrong, as that was four years ago, but I just kind of remember that.

I won't be getting it. The timer. Yes, it all comes down to that. Had they at least had an option to play through without the timer on the first run, I would have given it a shot. Oh well, guess I'll have to be killing Mutants in Vegas this year instead of zombies, eh? ;)

Yeah here it is. It's a bad shot from a crap camera but you can clearly see there is a 'Backwards' control.

1. They'll have to pass it out at special zombie sex ed classes. 'Now in case your penis is prone to falling off, the Zombrex has a special adhesive that sticks it firmly in place for the duration of the lovemaking'

2. Glad someone got it!

3. It would have been nice to even have a free-play mode after finishing it or something... the zombie killing bits are still great fun.

And yeah... I think I'll also have plenty of Vegas this fall to keep me occupied!

1. Ha! With an advertisement like that, what zombie could resist? :D

2. Of course I got it! That was one of my favorite parts of that movie. I love that lady. I was glad "The Bug" didn't kill her.

3. Wait, what? It doesn't have a free mode once you finish it? I thought that was how the first one worked... did they change it then? I could be mis-remembering. I didn't finish the first one. I got to the zombie guys driving around the courtyard and quit shortly after that.

But if they did change that, it seems like a strange decision.

Never heard of it? Is it the next one or is it an expansion for BC2?

There was a kind of free mode, but your health was constantly draining so yet again it was a race against the clock. Not my cup of tea!

Good read there. Sorry it took me so long to get here.
I enjoy reading your stuff, Miracle. Nice flow, informative enough for me to feel like I didn't listen to some ranting, and other good things. Yes. Other good things. <_<
