Mirror's Edge 2

I just beat Mirror's Edge and I found the game to be very fun except for some really stupid cheap parts. >.> and now with EA stating that Mirror's Edge 2 is in deveoplment. What do you guys think Mirror's Edge 2 will be like?

The sports games actually evolve quite a bit on a year to year level, just play madden 08 then 10 and it's pretty far apart, its just most people see that it looks the same and write it off as the same thing.
That said, remove the "choke" points wherein you were stopped and tasked with solving some sort of "puzzle" even if just a 30 second deal. It broke the flow of the game, mirrors edge was at its best when it was a pedal to the floor chase scene. Stopping for combat or to climb your way up something just shattered those 3 min sections where you where running, jumping and ducking in a "flow".

Yeah it does add some extra plays and change one or two functions but not enough to qualify for another game, but hey that's my opinion and I've only ever player 07 and 08 of Fifa

Some kind of prescience or rewind function. It's an amazing game, but the flow is always broken by death.

I didn't mind the combat so much. Ditch the ability use firearms, though. just go for quick, effective hand-to-hand.

I tried and I tried and took to long to even finish the tuturial the rest of the game is OK

More of the same, but I hope they make combat more enjoyable and fluid. IMO it doesn't need less combat, just more polish in that particular area.

What i expect:
-More of the same.

What i want:
-Cutscenes. Real ones this time.
-Less bloom.
-A decision on what exactly the game is. A really jumpy shooter or a game about running?
-Less QTE's.
-More realism or less pretensions to it.

I liked the original, and likened it to assasins creed. Hopefully it will improve in a similar fashion (based on the response they got for the first), because the whole flow thing is a great idea and it has huge potential (I've wanted a good runner game since I first saw the matrix). What I don't want, is for them go to overboard trying to make it 'realistic' or combat oriented, because that will detract from the fun (as well as leave gaping plotholes).
