Agreed. If I wanted some FPS gaming, I'd pop in my CoD4 for almost the same experience. Mirrors Edge is a new thing that is very unique.DYin01 said:I'd much rather have Mirror's Edge than COD5, you know..
Ah well I guess I will start saving my money than for some computer upgrades and the great games coming out at the start of next year for PC like Mirrors Edge and Dawn of War 2.Richard Groovy Pants said:I've finished the singleplayer under 6 hours.Dommyboy said:Ah well I would of purchased Mirrors Edge instead of CoD:WaW but unfortunately *sob* it wont be out for PC until January. Mirrors Edge offers a unique experience of game play and not your generic WW2 Nazi shooter though CoD:WaW seems to be pretty good.
I am actually not sure if I should get CoD:WaW, anyone here played it and find it to be worth purchasing?
I really don't think it's worth 60 bucks. Oh and the nazi zombies only come when you finish the game, it's like that extra level in CoD4. This game was too gritty for my taste. Still I haven't played the multyplayer, so that might save it.
I disagree. I've already spent more time playing CoD5 than I ever did any of the other CoD's. It's just a good game. Straight up. Quality. Game.Richard Groovy Pants said:Smart people would, totally different genres and besides Cod WaW isn't really worth the money.
Mostly because it's based really quite closely on CoD4, a straightup, quality game?Credge said:I disagree. I've already spent more time playing CoD5 than I ever did any of the other CoD's. I did say *half* a new game, in my defence ;<Richard Groovy Pants said:New game? Anyway, after having played the CoD: WaW demo for a while and found it overall pretty damn similar to CoD4 multiplayer I found myself with little desire to shell out another £40~ or so for half a new game. Thus, Mirror's Edge seems like the obvious choice.
Or maybe a mod. Actually I think the word mod fits in quite well here.

LOL
Left 4 Dead and Mirror's Edge are both on top of my "I will kill somebody for" list. I completlly forgot about CoD:WaW was even coming out.Richard Groovy Pants said:Compete as in getting bulldozered like papier mache.ElArabDeMagnifico said:Guys, I think he means "worst release date for CoD5". Which also has to compete with Left 4 Dead.
I know. In my mind, an original game is worth more than a cookie-cutter FPS sequel 80 times its length.Jobz said:Mirror's Edge is an awesome game though. Story mode is short but the speed runs and time trials should keep me busy for a while. Definitely worth the buy.
